I’ve been photographing Melissa and her wonderful family since Miss Lauren was a week old.  It’s always so much fun to catch up when we do our yearly sessions.  Miss Lauren has a little brother now, and this was all part of Shaun’s 18 month portrait session.   I just love the colors Melissa picked for their outfits!

All of my family portrait sessions are on location, either in your home, or outdoors.  The weather is getting better, and the days are getting longer.  The best time to schedule portrait sessions outdoors is the late aternoon, and into the last hour or two before the sun starts to set.

I’m already starting to book up for all sorts or portrait sessions through the months of May and June, so this is a great time to get your session scheduled befire the summer rush.

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are coming, and photos for your loved ones always make a perfect gift.

I fell in love with the vintage beauty of the Millcroft Inn and Spa when I was there capturing K and B’s wedding day.  The photography possibilities are endless around their property, and it made the perfect backdrop for the casual wedding day elegance that K had planned.   Didn’t they both make a stunning wedding day couple?

Andrea and Kevin chose to share their special day with only their closest family and friends in one of the most beautiful Niagara settings for intimate weddings.  Vineland Estates Winery is a world class winery filled with beautiful stone and architectural details.  Working with their staff is always a wonderful experience, and late afternoon weddings with beautiful sunsets are a photographer’s dream.

Because she has her hands full as a new mom, Kevin’s sister-in-law stepped in an arranged for the beautiful floral decor and table layouts.  And the casual mix of fragrant flowers and roses smelled divine!

Once again Loren, the owner,. designer of Goodie Goddess Cakes in Stoney Creek created a gorgeous wedding cake in yellows and blacks.  The black feather and netting embellishment just fit with the bit of vintage Hollywood starlet glam that Andrea had in mind for her day.

Here are just some of the images of their beautiful late afternoon wedding.
