I’m pleased to be able to offer First Communion photography and portrait session for my clients.
Aside from private baptisms, which can be photographed easily on the same day, First Communion photography typically only involves a a portrait session, where your daughter or son will be dressed in her/his first communion outfit and accessories. In almost all cases, no photography can be done on the day of the First Communion at the church without PERMISSION from the church. Since this is a ceremony involving many other children, not only my subject, it’s impossible to photograph at the ceremony without involving other families or children. Since my contract is only with my client, it’s usually much easier to simply schedule a First Communion portrait session either prior to or after the communion weekend.
If you’re interested in having me photograph your child for First Communion in a natural, real life setting, indoors or out, I’m happy to answer all of your questions and provide portrait session pricing. Please feel free to email me through my website or blog.
And here are some lovely photos from Miss E and her First Communion at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hamilton.
