I had a fabulous time meeting Sara and her twin boys to plan their session. Sara first contacted me in during the winter, after receiving a gift certificate for her session from a good friend (lucky girl!!) Her boys were turning one in February, but we wanted to wait to really capture their personalities until it was warm, and until they could be outside running and playing. As we planned, she even sent me photos, with the caution that the two were all boy, and had a hard time staying clean!
So we planned this session with getting dirty in mind — letting them have their time in the yard and garden, so bare feet and a little bit of dirt were perfectly normal. Their reward for finishing was a snack of fresh strawberries… and there was more squish-able food fun to photograph!
They loved the little nature filled jars I brought along — although filling them was a challenge with the dry summer! And I had plenty of help from Miss Caitlin in the form of baby handling, distracting, and keeping their attention occupied while I followed them around during our session.
So many photos to choose from — here is just a small sample of my faves.
